Like most New Mexicans, I welcome every bit of moisture we get, but until now I dreaded our resultant deeply rutted muddy roads. This year thanks to your work on our roads, I delight in the monsoon rains. They have provided much needed moisture, but have left our roads with a hard surface that remains smooth, not rutted and muddy.
